In response to your email dated September 20, 2020 along with photographs, the Board
of Trustees reviewed your request to cut down and remove some trees located on your
property which are problematic and as seen by Trustee Michael J. Domino on
September 28, 2020. Trustee Domino set a flag in the lawn at'the limit of 100'

---jurisdiction and-noted-that-the-trees-selected-for--removal-are-aging-out--and-ar-e-not-- — - --=- -=- -
jurisdictional.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this,office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

We spoke this past Thursday regarding my request to transfer the pool permit(#9440) obtained by the prior owners of
the home my husband and I just purchased at 1380 Oakwood Drive in Southold. The request was approved by the
Trustees at their 9/16/20 meeting and you had called to request my mailing address.
While we were on the phone, I mentioned that we have some trees on the west side of our yard (bordering North
Bayview)that the tree experts who have been taking care of this property for years (Joe and John Shipman) suggested
we take down. One tree is leaning significantly and looks like it could be pulling up on its roots and the other six trees
(five Douglas Fir and one Birch) are not healthy-they have no branches on one side or another or have virtually bare
branches. While there are seven trees at issue, I think only one of them is possibly within the Trustees'jurisdiction
(within 100 feet of the high water mark on our bulkhead).'However,to be safe, I'm writing about all of them.
I've attached photos of all of the trees at issue. The only one that I believe might be within 100 feet of the highwater
mark is the big one that is obviously leaning heavily in the photos (with the yellow and pink flowers around it). Please let
us know if the Trustees would like to come out.to inspect (the yard is not fenced and they can go to the property to look
whenever they'd like) and when it is okay to schedule to have the trees removed.
