Dear Ms. Talbot:
In response to your letter received on October 15, 2020, along with photographs, the
Board of Trustees reviewed you request to remove two-(2) trees that are dying and
problematic and within 100' of the-wetlands, and as�reviewed by Trustee A. Nicholas
Krupski.
The Board of Trustees determined that these two (2) trees may be removed at this"time.
No permit will be required in order to remove these trees. Please note that: The stump
on the bank of the wetland is to remain.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.

Dear Nick,
I am writing to request an emergency letter of permission from the town to remove two trees from my property
at 890 Old Harbor Road,New Suffolk. The trunk of one tree is growing immediately next to and interfering
with a building structure and, in addition, the base of this tree is rotted out with a bug infestation.
The other tree is dead and is in imminent danger of falling across my dock and sailboat. In the attached photos,
any greenery on this dead tree is from a vine. The tree is falling closer to the dock every day. It is also tearing
out the embankment behind it, faciiltating fast erosion.
I have attached photographs of the trees described above.
The property is owned by Old Harbor Road, LLC, of which I am the sole member. I give you permission to go
on the property to view the trees. The property is located at 890 Old Harbor Road,New Suffolk. There is no
sign for#890, but you will see a sign for#900 on the south side of Old Harbor Rd.
