The Town Board of the Town of Southold has determined that in order to provide proper support and oversight of the operations of the police department it is necessary to supersede the provisions of Town Law section 150 (2) pursuant to the Municipal Home Rule Law of the State of New York. The public will have an opportunity to see and hear the meeting live and provide comments virtually. The hearing will be held virtually via ZOOM Webinar. II. Chapter 51-2 of the Code of the Town of Southold is hereby amended as follows: § 51-2 Board of Police Commissioners. A.
