Enclosed please find a copy of the LEGAL NOTICE for the Southold Town Board of Appeals
which provides the date and place for the Hearing and the request for one (1) variance for the
above referenced property. Also enclosed is a copy of the PROPERTY SITE PLAN showing
the proposed structure
The property is located at 8100 Hortons Lane, Southold
The applicants propose to get approval to demolish the existing dwelling and construct a new
single family dwelling more than the code permitted two and one half stories.,

SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2020
PUBLIC HEARING
Dud to public health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, the Zoning Board of Appeals
will not be meeting in-person. In accordance with the Governor's Executive Order 202.1, the
NOVEMBER 5, 2020 Zoning Board of Appeals meeting will be held via video conferencing,
and a transcript will be provided at a later date. The public will have access to view, listen
and make comment during the meeting as it is happening via Zoom. Details about how to
tune in and make comments during the meeting are on the Town's website agenda for this
meeting which may be viewed at hftp://www.southoldtowntiv.qov/agendacenter. Additionally,
there will be a link to the Webinar Zoom meeting at
http://www.southoldtownny.gov/calendar.aspx.
If you do not have access to a computer or smartphone, there is an option to listen in via
telephone. _

Section 280-13 and the Building Inspector's September 9, 2020 Notice of Disapproval
based on an application for a building permit- to demolish an existing single family
dwelling and construct a new single family dwelling, at; 1) more than the code permitted
maximum two and.one-half (2-1/2) stories; located at: 8100- Hortons Lane;-(Adj. to-Long
Island Sound), Southold, NY. SCTM No. 1000 54-4-31.
The Board of Appeals will hear all persons or their representatives,desiring to be heard at each hearing, and/or
desiring to submit written statements before the conclusion of each hearing. Each hearing will not start earlier
