Dear Ms. Rudder:
Our firm represents Rial Realty Corp., the owner of property on
Horton's Point designated on the Suffolk County Real Property Tax
Map as DISTRICT 1000, SECTION 050.00, BLOCK 01.00, LOT 010.000.
The property is improved by two single-family residences. Our
client purchased the property from the Betty Parsons Estate in
1982.
The property is presently covered by three separate Certificates
of Occupancy issued by your office:
No. Z 949 issued to Mrs. Betty Parsons on January 9, 1961
covering a "Private one family dwelling";
No. Z 1638 issued to Betty Parsons on June 24, 1963 covering
a "Private one family dwelling"; and
No.
Z 9346 issued to Betty Parsons on December 19, 1978
covering a "Private One Family Dwelling With Addition."
Copies of the various Certificates and the Building Permits on
which they were issued are enclosed.
Our client has contracted to sell this property, and the pur-
chasers have requested us to obtain a single, updated Certificate
of Occupancy covering all structures and improvements.
I am enclosing a new survey prepared by Roderick Van Tuyl, dated
October 30, 1992 and our firm's check to your order for $50.00,
together with a stamped, self-addressed envelope. Please issue
the updated Certificate of Occupancy we are requesting either in
the name of "Rial Realty Corp.," the present owner, or in the
names of "Abbijane Schifrin and Walter R. Yetnikoff", the pur-
chasers with whom our client has contracted.

APPLICATION FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
This application must be filled in by typewriter OR ink and submitted to the building
inspector with the following: for new building or new use:
1. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines,
streets, and unusual natural or topographic features.
2. Final Approval from Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage-disposal(S-9 form).
3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters.
4. Sworn statement from plumber certifying that the solder used in system contains
less than 2/10 of 1% lead.
5. Commercial building, industrial building, multiple residences and similar buildings
and installations, a certificate of Code Compliance from architect or engineer
responsible for the building.
6. Submit Planning Board Approval of completed site plan requirements.
For existing buildings (prior to April 9, 1957) non-conforming uses, or buildings and
"pre-existing" land uses:
1. Accurate survey of property showing all property lines, streets, building and
unusual natural or topographic features.
2. A properly completed application and a consent to inspect signed by the applicant.
If a Certificate of Occupancy is denied, the Building Inspector shall state the
reasons therefor in writing to the applicant.

b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets or

c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit·
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in pa rt for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector·
