Located: 480 Rabbit Lane, East Marion. SCTM# 1000-31-18-10. The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the LWRP policies and therefore, CONSISTENT with the LWRP. This recommendation was based on the following: 1. A Wetland Permit and Coastal Erosion Permit was issued in 2010 for the bulkheads. 2. Aerial photos show that the structures (wood jetty) were installed sometime prior to 1978. 3. The wood jetty is proposed to be shortened to have less impact on longshore drift. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
