Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to hold a conversation with you at your September
work session regarding two properties. Our goal with both properties is to bring them up to
date and legalize all existing waterfront structures at both properties. They are as follows:
New Suffolk Shipyard LLC
NSS LLC has two Trustee permits. Permit 1191 dated October 4, 1976 and permit 4455
dated May 25, 1995. 1 have included a survey dated February 8,2004 which was prepared
for the Planning Department and Trustees in anticipation for an application for the addition of
boat racks. This project was dropped by NSS LLC prior to actually going before you. The
survey is extensive with all docks and structures drawn to scale, and will provide you with
much information regarding this site. Our goal is to amend the current permits to legalize all
structures as they appear today.
Cutchogue Harbor Marina.
To our surprise we can not find any Trustee permits for this site. I have included a site plan
showing DEC approval for a permit in 1996. 1 have also submitted a copy of a site plan
approved by the Planning Board on August 7, 2004. A copy of the Planning Boards approval
of this site plan is provided dated March 24, 2009. Our goal is to obtain Trustee permits to
legalize all structures as they appear today.

A resolution was adopted at a meeting of the Southold Town Planning Board on
Monday, October 20, 2008 granting final approval on the map prepared and certified by
John T. Metzger, Surveyor, dated October 30, 2003 and last revised September 15,
2004.
As of this date, maps have not been submitted for endorsement by the Chairman.
Please advise me of the status of this application as soon as possible.
