Environmental Consulting on behalf of ALEXANDER WILMERDING requests a Wetland Permit and a Coastal Erosion Permit to construct a 226sq.ft. roofed over deck/gazebo area with a ±27sq.ft. access ramp and railings on top of existing 12.1'x12.3' (148.83sq.ft.) brick foundation "pump house"; on the "pump house" restore or replace stucco on walls where necessary,,and replace existing windows. Located: 4997 Equestrian Avenue, Fishers Island. SCTM# 1000-9-9-3.1 The proposed action has been reviewed to Chapter 268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the proposed action is CONSISTENT with the LWRP policies and therefore CONSISTENT with the LWRP. This recommendation was made in consideration of the following: 1. In 1993 the Board granted approval to construct a roof deck on top of the "existing small pump house". In the event the action is approved it is recommended that the Board establish a vegetated, non-turf buffer landward of the shoreline. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action.
