THURSDAY, JANUARY 23,2020
4:00 P.M.
A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was
held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at
Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday, January 23, 2020 commencing at 4:00 P.M.
Present were:
Nick Planamento, Vice Chair
Eric Dantes, Member
Patricia Acampora, Member
Kim E. Fuentes, Board Assistant
William Duffy, Town Attorney
John Burke, Assistant Town Attorney
Call to Order at 4:05 P.M. by Vice Chair Nicholas Planamento.
WORK SESSION:
a) Requests from Board Members for future agenda items.
b) The Board reviewed various applicant requests for de minimus approvals and
requests to lift conditions of approval of prior variance decisions.
DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS: The Board continued
with agenda items, and commenced deliberations on the following application. The original
determinations of each of the following applications as decided are filed with the Southold
Town Clerk:

RESOLUTIONS:
1. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Vice Chair Planamento, seconded by
Member Acampora to authorize advertising of hearings for Regular Meeting to be held on
February 6, 2020 which Regular Meeting will commence at 8:30 A.M., in the Meeting„
Hall in the Southold Town Hall. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Dantes, Acampora,

Lehnert were absent)
2. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Vice Chair Planamento, seconded by
Member Acampora to approve minutes from January 2, 2020, Regular Meeting. Vote of
the Board: Ayes: Members Dantes Acampora Planamento. Resolutions were duly
adopted (3-0). (Members Weisman (Chairperson) and Lehnert were absent)
3. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Vice Chair Planamento, seconded by
Member Acampora to GRANT applicant's request that the Board rescind Condition No.
2, which requires that"the applicant prepare a stormwater management plan to be
certified by a design professional that meets the minimum requirement of Chapter 236", in
Determination#7341, 935 Sound Beach Drive, LLC. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members
Dantes Acampora Planamento Resolutions were duladopted (3-0). (Members
Weisman (Chairperson) and Lehnert were absent)
4. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Member Dantes, seconded by
Member Acampora to DENY, the applicant's request that the Board rescind Condition
No. 2, which requires that "the existing sanitary system be upgraded to an Advanced I/A
Septic System approved by the SCDHS", in determination No. 7335, Jean and Robert
Rogers. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Dantes, Acampora, Planamento.
Resolutions were duly adopted (3-0). (Members Weisman (Chairperson) and Lehnert
were absent)
There being no other business properly coming before the Board at this time, Vice Chair
Planamento declared the meeting adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 5:27 P.M.
