We are sorry this was omitted from the emvelope carrying the application forms. Please refer to the enclosed copy of our letter to Mr. W. B. May, President of Fishers Island Estates dated December 19th, which we trust will show that we have taken immediate steps to request the Estates to apply to you to have their so-called"ParkArea" of Fishers Island declared an "Open Development Area" i~ accordance with yotur requirements. In the meantime since some 75 houses have been built in that area in the past 30 years I think it is safe to assume that the Estates will ~mmediately m~ke their application to you, but because of the delay in mail at Christmae time we would greatly appreciate your sending us this building permit now if at all possible, for it is a difficult time of year to have to start founda- tions for a house and this warm weather will probably not last much longer.
