BAILIE BEACH LODGE The Commissioners reviewed the 2 bids received for the trenching and pipeline project at Bailie Beach Lodge. The two bids were: 1) Underground Water Service, 242 River Road, Manorville, NY 11949 631-404-7256 $7500.00 Estimate 2) Sound Shore Irrigation, 5980 Sound Avenue, Mattituck, NY 11952 631-298-8163 $8750.00 Estimate G Lomaga would like an expert to review the bids before he made his decision. D McGreevy and G Goehringer agreed to use Underground Water Service to do the work at Bailie Beach Lodge. ALDRICH LANE The Commissioners would like to have another meeting with John Pratnicki to further discuss removing some of the light bulbs at the Aldrich Lane Park in order to reduce the electric use. The Commissioners would like to go over Stanchions 3, 4, and 5 with Mr. Pratnicki, as previously discussed, there is an overabundance of lights in the parking lot and south side of the field. G Georinger suggested blocking off the meter so there is better control of who can tum on and off the lights. Public Comment There was no one in attendance from the public. Resolutions Resolution 2019-110 RESOLVED The Mattituck Park District accepts the bid from Underground Water Service, at 242 River Road, Manorville, NY 11949, to install the water line from The Lodge at Bailie Beach to the road in order to connect to public water provided by the Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA). The total amount will be approximately $7500.00 with a deposit of$3750.00 due two (2) weeks prior to the work beginning. The final payment of$3750.00 will be due upon completion and a satisfactory inspection by the SCWA. RESULT: Motion by D. McGreevy seconded by G. Goehringer, G Lomaga abstained from the vote. Service line will be terminated inside basement with a 1%" ball valve. Service line to be no less than 54" deep. 2-3 pits will be dug along the path of the service line. No continuous trench will be excavated along the road.
