The meeting began at 7:00 p.m. with six LPC members present.
Committee Minutes and Administration
Acceptance of LPC meeting minutes from December 10, 2019
MOTION made by Sam McCullough, seconded by Lillian Ball, to accept the 12/10/2019 LPC meeting
minutes.
Motion carried: 6/0
Next Regular LPC Meeting Date
The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
Land Preservation Applications & Potential Applications
MOTION made by Eric Keil, seconded by Anne Murray, to enter into EXECUTIVE SESSION - Proposed
Acquisitions of Real Property Where Publicity Would Substantially Affect the Value Thereof
Motion carried: 6/0
The LPC members entered in EXECUTIVE SESSION at 7:08 p.m.
Land Preservation Coordinator gave updates on inquiries, new applications, appraisals and current
applications.
MOTION made by Eric Keil, seconded by Anne Murray, to end Executive Session.
Motion carried: 6/0
EXECUTIVE SESSION ENDED at 8:18 p.m.

General Land Preservation Items:
YEAR END REPORT
Land Preservation Coordinator Melissa Spiro gave year-end report on 2019 completed preservation
projects showing 260.9 acres preserved and $14,605,436 spent. This includes all Town and County
projects for farmland preservation, open space, and conservation easement for recreational purposes.
FARMLAND PROGRAM DISCUSSION
Not discussed due to time constraints.
