Sincerely, Henmn%uilfer Mannino Secretary Enclosures s MATTITUCK PARK DISTRICT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES OCTOBER 2, 2019 Attendance Doris McGreevy, Co-Chairperson Gerard Goehringer, Co-Chairperson George Lomaga, Commissioner Beth Siar, Clerk Call to Order G Lomaga called the meeting to order at 10:55 A.M. The Commissioners discussed the attorney interviews. The Commissioners agreed to hire Stephen F Kiely, Esq as the Mattituck Park District attorney effective October 2, 2019. The annual salary is $12,000.00 per year with two meetings per month. Brain T Egan will be hired as needed as the litigator for the Mattituck Park District. The Commissioners discussed election vote G Lomaga to speak with D Prokop to transfer materials to new attorney. Public Comment There was no one in attendance from the public. Resolutions Resolution 2019-93 RESOLVED The Mattituck Park District approves the hiring of Stephen F Kiely, Esq at 12850 Main Road, Mattituck New York 11952 as the attorney to advise the Commissioners at the work session and regular meetings effective October 2, 2019. In addition, Mr. Kiely will be available to return calls and assist with contracts and other municipal matters. The annual salary will be $12,000.00. RESULT: Motion by D. McGreevy seconded by G. Goehringer, all in favor and motion carried unanimously to approve Resolution 2019-93. Resolution 2019-94 RESOLVED The Mattituck Park District approves the hiring of Brian T Egan, Esq at 46 Newtown Lane, East Hampton. New York 11937 as the Litigation attorney on an as needed basis. Salary to be determined. RESULT: Motion by D. McGreevy seconded by G. Lomaga, all in favor and motion carried unanimously to approve Resolution 2019-94. Special meeting adjourned at 11:15 A.M.
