Dear Mr. Terry:
Enclosed in duplicate is an application by the
undersigned as agent for Edward Pelletieri, together
with a check for the required fee.
The premises were acquired by Mr. Pelletieri in
1956, before the zoning ordinance became effective,
and were held by him in single, separate ownership
prior to that time.
It is intended that the house is to be centered,
laterally, on the lot. Give or take a small margin of
error in lay-out, there will be a total of 16 feet
for the side yards, 8 feet on each side. As I recall
the ordinauce requires a total of 25 feet for side yards
with one side no less than l0 feet.
It is my understanding however, from Mr. Gillespie,
that in the case of parcels held in single and separate
ownership on April 23, 1957 you have been authorized
to furnish permits where the side yards are to be re-
duced not in excess of 50%. I believe my application
comes within that degree of latitude.
