Requires Immediate Attention: Nothing at this time 11. Board and Office Policies, Practices, and Activities: Calendaring ZBA Applications The number of applications submitted to the Board is ever increasing, and the wait time to be schedule for a public hearing is now about 4 months. At our Regular Nleetirlg on September 12, 2.4191 discussed this backlog with the Board members and how we might reduce the current wait time for applicants. The Board agreed to hear most of the applications now scheduled for December 2019 and January 2020 during our October and November 2019 Regular Meetings and to hold a separate evening hearing on the SEQRA FE1S and Special Exception Permit application for the proposed Enclaves Hotel and restaurant project in Southold. Although the work load and the hours spent on hearing dates will temporarily almost double for these two months, we will be totally caught up on applications and therefore able to calendar new applications in less than half the current wait time. 111.
