Committee Minutes and Administration  Acceptance of LPC meeting minutes from September 3, 2019 HOLD  Next Regular LPC Meeting Date The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 1, 2019. Land Preservation Applications & Potential Applications MOTION made by Sam McCullough, seconded by Lillian Ball, to enter into EXECUTIVE SESSION - Proposed Acquisitions of Real Property Where Publicity Would Substantially Affect the Value Thereof Motion carried: 6/0 The LPC members entered into EXECUTIVE SESSION at 7:06 p.m. Land Preservation Committee met with Special Legal Counsel. MOTION made by Sam McCullough, seconded by Will Lee, to end Executive Session. Motion carried: 6/0 EXECUTIVE SESSION ENDED at 8:04 p.m. MOTION made by Sam McCullough, seconded by Eric Keil, to re-enter into EXECUTIVE SESSION - Proposed Acquisitions of Real Property Where Publicity Would Substantially Affect the Value Thereof Motion carried: 6/0 The LPC members re-entered into EXECUTIVE SESSION at 8:09 p.m. Land Preservation Coordinator gave updates on inquiries, new applications, appraisals and current applications. MOTION made by Eric Keil, seconded by Will Lee, to end Executive Session. Motion carried: 6/0 EXECUTIVE SESSION ENDED at 8:50 p.m. MOTION made by Eric Keil, seconded by Lillian Ball, to approve the request of landowner made on September 16, 2019, and discussed while in Executive Session, for seven days additional time to consider the purchase offer extended by the Town of Southold for the purchase of a farmland development rights easement. The purchase offer outlined in the August 15, 2019 offer letter will remain valid until Monday, September 23, 2019. (Motion No. 2019-14) Motion carried: 6/0 MOTION made by Eric Keil, seconded by Sam McCullough, to direct Land Preservation Coordinator to present a proposed purchase offer to the landowner for a development rights easement on agricultural land that was discussed while in Executive Session at a price per acre supported by the Town’s authorized appraisal. The proposed offer is subject to review by and approval of the Town Board.
