Dear Mr. and Mrs. Lemler:
The Southold Town Board of Trustees reviewed the proposed site plan prepared by
SU11 Architecture & Design, dated August 30, 2019 and the survey of Peconic
Surveyors, P.C., last dated February 25, 2019 and determined that the proposed
construction of two-story_building-extension-on-the-captioned property is out of the
Wetland jurisdiction under Chapter 275 of the Town Wetland Code and Chapter 111 of
the Town Code.
Therefore, in accordance with the current Wetlands Code (Chapter 275) and the
Coastal Erosion Hazard Area (Chapter 111) no permit is required.
Please be advised, however, that no clearing, no removal of vegetation, no cut or
fill of land or removal of sod, no construction, sedimentation, or disturbance of
any kind may take place within 100' landward from the top of the bluff, or seaward
of the tidal and/or freshwater wetlands jurisdictional boundary or seaward of the
coastal erosion hazard area as indicated above, without further application to,
and written authorization from, the Southold Town Board of Trustees pursuant to
Chapter 275 and/or Chapter 111 of the Town Code.
It is your responsibility to ensure that all necessary precautions are taken to prevent any
sedimentation or other alteration or disturbance to the ground surface or vegetation
within Tidal Wetlands jurisdiction and Coastal Erosion Hazard Area, which may result
from your project. Such precautions may include maintaining adequate work area

between the tidal wetland jurisdictional boundary and the coastal erosion hazard area
and your project or erecting a temporary fence, barrier, or hay bale berm.
This determination is not a determination from any other agency.

To whom it may concern,
We are writing to request a letter of non-jurisdiction in reference to our new project.
The project consists in a 2 stories building extension,which footprint is not stepping into the 100'
clearance from the wetlands restricted area.
We plan a new gravel path and some planting within the 100'area, but no trees will be removed.
As discussed over the phone,we request a meeting on site at your earliest convenience to discuss the
scope of the project,for which we will stake out the edge of the new footprint.
Please,find survey of existing building attached.
Through this letter we give permission to access the property and measure to a member of the board of
trustees or someone designated by the board.
We also allow a member of SU11 Architecture to represent us in the meeting.
Find$50.00 check attached for requested fee.
