Dear Mr. and Mrs. Shanks:
With regard to your letter received on July 9, 2019 requesting to prune trees
which face Town Creek located on your property, and as seen by Trustee
Michael J. Domino, the Board of Trustees determined that the trees maybe
judiciously pruned and the dead branches removed from the property.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this
office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

Subject: Approval letter for tree risk reduction
Gentlemen:
We live at 1165 Calves Neck Road in Southold.
Recently we asked Jonathan Shipman of Shamrock
Tree Company to survey the trees on our property
to see if there are dead branches that would call for
a risk reduction that could be effectuated by their
removal.
We were also told that the Trustees should be
informed of this and, if necessary, survey the
property themselves. We are fine with this.
As a letter of approval for the work seems to be
needed, we would appreciate a quick survey of the

propertyas Mr. Shipman says the workcould
commence in 3 weeks time.
I have included some pictures of the trees that

recently fell of its own accord.
