Dear Mr. MacNish:
In response to your letter dated August 26, 2019, the Board of Trustees reviewed your
request to cut down the diseased Cherry tree that is threatening your home located on
the above mentioned property, and to prune the other trees as shown in your
photographs, and which trees were seen by Trustee Glenn Goldsmith on September 5,
2019.
The Board of Trustees determined that the dead Cherry tree may be removed at this
time and that the other trees may be pruned. No permit will be required in order to
remove the dead tree and to trim others.
Any other activity within 100' of the wetland boundary requires a permit from this office.
This is not a determination from any other agency.

To whom it may concern,
I am requesting permission to have some tree work done on my property at 695 Blossom
Bend Mattituck,NY by the Shamrock Tree Company,Mattituck,NY 11952, Tel: 631-
298-2175. I am requesting permission because my property is on a marshland, an estuary
of Deep Hole Creek. (See map and satellite view)
I am having a Cherry tree taken down on the advise of the tree company because it is not
healthy and threatens the house. (see pictures)I am having several trees pruned and
trimmed away from the house, each one photographically documented, attached. Only .
trees that directly threaten the house will be altered and in such a way as to not damage
the health of the tree.
I am also having some small trees (brush)removed at the base of my driveway because
they imped the view of oncoming traffic and cause a danger to backing out of the
driveway. (see pictures)
