WAMSLEY, TRUSTEES SCTM# 1000-78-5-10 En-Consultants on behalf of THE WAMSLEY FAMILY TRUST, c/o BRIAN W. & DIANNE M. WAMSLEY, TRUSTEES requests a Wetland Permit to install a 5'x14' floating jet-ski dock to be connected directly to existing bulkhead using 2" galvanized pipe. Located: 490 Williamsberg Road, Southold. SCTM# 1000-78-5-10 The proposed action h'as been reviewed to Chapter,268, Waterfront Consistency Review of the Town of Southold Town Code and the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP) Policy Standards. Based upon the information provided on the LWRP Consistency Assessment Form submitted to this department, as well as the records available to me, it is my recommendation that the action is CONSISTENT with the Policy Standards and therefore is CONSISTENT with the LWRP. Pursuant to Chapter 268, the Board of Trustees shall consider this recommendation in preparing its written determination regarding the consistency of the proposed action. All applidants for permits* including Town of Southold agencies, shall complete this CCAF for proposed actions that are subject to the Town of Southold Waterfront Consistency Review Law. This assessment is intended to supplement other information used by a Town of Southold agency in making a determination of consistency. *Except minor exempt actions including Building Permits and other ministerial permits not located within the Coastal Erosion Hazard Area. 2. Before answering the questions in Section C, the preparer of this form should review the exempt minor action list, policies and explanations of each policy contained in the Town of Southold Local terfront Revitalization Program. The project consists only of the installation of a 5'x 14'plastic jet-ski float to be connected directly to the existing bulkhead using 2"galvanized pipe,and no treated materials will be introduced to the waterway as a result of the project. See LWRP Section III - Policies; Pages 22 through 32 for evaluation criteria. ® Yes ❑ No ❑ Not Applicable The proposed 5'x 14'plastic jet-ski float is to be connected to the existing bulkhead using 2"galvanized pipe with no anchors or additional pilings used to secure the float;and a personal watercraft such as a jet ski or waverunner will be docked only on top of the float. There will thus be no bottom disturbance associated with the float installation and no treated materials introduced to the waterway;and the project will conform in all ways to the general"construction and operation standards"for docks set forth by Section 275-1 l(C)(2). Therefore, consistent with Policy 6,the proposed float would not cause a"fragmentation of ecological communities;" result in the physical loss,degradation, or functional loss of ecological components; or otherwise significantly adversely impact the tidal waters of the bulkheaded canal.
