Meeting started at 4:45 pm. 2. Those in attendance; Elby Burr Chair, Geb Cook, Mike Posey, Peter Rugg, Chippy duPont, Tom Patterson, Steve Malinowski, Louisa Evans, Lincoln White. By phone Margie Purnell. 3. Minutes from the May 25th meeting were approved. 4. SPRING MOORING REPORT a. I have received paperwork for 69 moorings and collected $8930 $7290 was 2018 monies and $1300 prior years. b. 4 moorings released, Rosey Hutchinson, Walter Keenan, John Spurle, Kitty Sturgis. No new requests to me. Need reminder letter to Real Estate firms that moorings don't transfer with the house. Elby to send a letter. c. New mooring request: Matt &Tryn Collins—denied, have a dock for the boat already. RJ Burns -tabled 5. Bay Patrol members for 2018 are: Bill Wall, Peter Wall, Lincoln White. 6. Need to monitor shellfish beds from closed season harvesting. 7. Commuter boats coming into West Harbor. Each boat has made arrangements for docking, but George Main would still like approval to use the Town Dock on an emergency basis. No response from the town as to approval of use. 8. Shrink the Boat continues to offer pump-out services to Fishers Island. The fee is $10,000 and The Fishers Island Conservancy has agreed to cover the cost. The money is in the Harbor Committee budget, we have not heard anything from the town regarding approval for this money. 9. Safe Boating course is scheduled for July. It will be taught by Elby Burr. 11. NYS Sea grass Coordinator, Soren Dahl sent a letter regarding the Eelgrass beds and maintaining them within the mooring field. Discussion occurred regarding the costs and feasibility of converting the field to helix from mushrooms. There is also a group forming on Island for the maintenance of our current eelgrass beds. There is a fall meeting scheduled. 12. Review Committee membership and openings. We need everyone to recruit new members for vacant positions. Tom Patterson has been asked to join the committee as a Hay Harbor Property owner. 13. Meeting adjourned at 6:05 pm.
