( ) REASON FOR APPEAL A Varianoe to Section 280A Subsection 3 A Variance to the Zoning Ordinance is requested for the reason tha~ I wish to build an office addition on my motel units, which would extend out to the edge of the present cemment patio - aproximately l0 feet in front of the existing building line, but within the require~ 25ft front yard (Continue on otherside) setback of "B" business district. ~orm REASON FOR APPEAL Continued 1:.' STRICTAPPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce UNDUE HARDSHIP becau~ : The present building line rahs from 15 feet on the east to 35ft on the west of my properties opposite Town Beach. The proposed addition would come only to the specified 25ft setback line if there were no~xistLug buildings. 2. The ha~ship created is UNIQUE and is not s. hared by all properties alike in the immediate vicini~ of this propelS'and in this use di~rictbecause~: ~his property is only'"B"bu~iness district in area, and the ~xisting buildings are built on the extreme East & West side of the property - the center being vacant land. ( permit issued to move the present small building away). 3. The Variance would obse~e the spirit of the Ordinance ~n8 WO~LD NOT CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because: The property i~ zoned "B" business in the center of a summer resort area where there are many rental cottages, bungalows, houses etc and on the opposite side of the Highway is the Town public beach.
