SUBSECTION
THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION IS REQUESTED BECAUSE our major identification sign
car~not be seen on Main Street by approaching traffic due to large trees
with low branches v~ich completely obstruct the visibility of our sign.
We respectfully request the Zoning Boardfs a=~prova~ to install an
additional ground sign on the southwest corner of our plot at the above
address. The sign proposed is the standard oval ~ ft. by 8 ft., double
face with the lettering (E~S0) and covers 29 sq. rt. each face The sign
is li§hted a~ter~ dark oraly when the station is open for business.' ~_
propose to install the sign in the location as shown on the sketch on
the back of this application, The existing sign is turned a~ right
angles to Wickham Avenue ~nd thus does not provide a business identi-
fication sign for traffic on Main Street, The proposed sign v~i! be
o~ or~y business sign that can be seen from M&in Streez due to the
abotementmone~ trees .
