This is an industrial area~, where the main structures are located on the waterfront
part of the lets, The land is very sandy neceitatiing the ha~.ing in of stable fill
before building ur other uses of~ the r ~
- p oper~y. There is a residence, building on the
opposite side of the street which is set bamk aoroximately~ 16feet, and:s~me distance
to the east thez;e is a residence which is set v~ry colse to the highway° ~?aintaining
the proposed bu~_,umug a~ t~e required 30 ft setback wdu~id;be impractical due to the
slope away from the street and the necessity of bringing in stable fill te make ~b
~ · · ~~e
a ~dztzonal setback ~eable.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this pr. orperty and in this use district because,* ~0ther lots in are~ are c~velopea~ ~ on the
waterfront, and do not need this type of office building.
3. The Variance would observe the spi~rit~o~ 'the fOrdindnce--and WO~LD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because: This is a "C" industrial area which is in the
process of being fully developed~ the present business ~s been in operation for
several years. The property on the southerly side of Naugles Drive is developed with
several small buildings, a few trailers, and some cottage colonies. The proposed
office building will.in ~.o way c~nge or harm ~he charicter of the neighborhood~ in
fact would ~end'rt0imp~o~e it~ ~FUrther ir~orm~tion~be supplied to the Board if

Inspector.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets

c. The-work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises ava,liable for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole, or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
