is requested for the reason that ~ I hd purchased the lot in q~estion from N.A.Luce in 1958
as a single !or size 75ft front by 162ft deep and now wish to build a home. It is
now apparent that the lot had been sold by ]~r. Luce and repurchased by him before he
sold it to me~ ~ oezno in common ownership at the time of sa!e~ a. variance is necessary.

I. STR1C'~:~PPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce UNDUE HARDSHIP because : The lot
~n question lies mostly in the "B" district, and had been sold out as a singl~ lot
prior to the adoption of ~the ordinance, and repurchased by ~ Luce, 'm king it ~part of
a large parcel.
Other lots on 'the. same side of~ the ,street are built~lup, dn,;lot,~ ~Sf~ l%gs i~ than
100 foot frontage, therefore it would be an unnecessary hardship to require this
particular lot to be of %00 foot frontage, as there is aproximatsly 12,000 Sq ft of area.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of this property a~qd in this use district becouse~ this' '~s ~h~ .o~ly~- !0t bet~ee~ the
business district lot facing the state road and the "A" district buildings on the South.
3. The Variance would obse~e the spirit of the Ordinance ah8 WOULD NOT CHANGE T~E
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because: The area is residential' ~b~ 'the'southerly side,
where most of the lots are under 100 ft frontage, and "B" business lots to the northerly
side. The proposed use is residential, and would in no ~ay change the charicter of
the neighborhood

a. This application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and submitted in duplicate to the Building
Inspector.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises Dr public streets
or areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which Js part of this location.
c. The work coYered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Bui!ding Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the .gremises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in r~art for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
