Proposed code definition for Cabana/Pool House
On June 4, 2019 the 'rown board approved proposed amendments to Chapter 280,
Zoning, in connection with Definitions, cabana/pool house, as proposed by the ZBA,
Chef Building Inspector and Town Attorney.
SE Draft Environmental hnpact Statement for the Enclaves Hotel and
Restaurant Southold NY
On June 6, 2019. at the oard"s Regular Meeting, Carrie O'Farrell, Senior Partner in
the.ZBA's consulting firm ofNelson.Pope& Voorhis, LLC reviewed with the Board
as Lead Agency,the above referenced application for completeness of the
requirements of their DLIS submission. In addition to the consultant's analysis of
omissions and corrections, the Board requested additional information from the
applicants who are now undertaking that work. Once the revisions and additions are
received, we will again review for completeness based upon the scope and content
requirements of the agreed upon Final Scope and formally accept the document by
resolution, so that the public review process, review by other involved agencies, and
the Special Exception Permit application may proceed.
Z13A Annual Training for 2019
Pursuant to Town Board Resolution 42019-341 and NY Town.Law 267(7-a), on June
20, 2019 Chief Building Inspector Verity continued with his ZBA training; on FEMA
compliance by demonstrating the use of various websites and software programs
designed to visualize specific properties relative to flood zone maps and other data
that will enlarge the Board's ability to better understand potentially adverse
environmental impacts and the character of different neighbors relative to specific
ZBA applications. All.ZFlA Members were in attendance.
