AUTHORIZES TOWN CLERK TO PUBLISH AND POST A PUBLIC NOTICE OF
PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER A PROPOSED LOCAL LAW TO AMEND
CHAPTER 255 ENTITLED "PARADES. ASSEMBLIES AND SPECIAL EVENTS" OF
THE RIVERHEAD TOWN CODE —AMNESTY PERIOD
Councilwoman Kent offered the following resolution,
which was seconded by Councilman Wooten
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that the Town Clerk is hereby
authorized to publish and post the attached public notice to consider a proposed local
law to consider an amend to Chapter 255 entitled, "Parades, Assemblies and Special
Events" of the Riverhead Town Code, once in the June 13, 2019 issue of the News-
Review Newspaper, the newspaper hereby designated as the official newspaper for this
purpose, and to post same on the signboard in Town Hall; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized to forward a copy of this
resolution to the Building Department, the Planning Department and the Office of the
Town Attorney.

255-21 Amnesty/Effective Date.
The Riverhead Town Board has determined that a six twelve month amnesty period z
from the date of adoption of the Local Law (L.L. No. 25-2018), adopted on December o
18, 2018 shall be placed in effect and as such, Local Law 25-2018 shall take effect on °-
daee December 18, 2019. This amendment when adopted shall be effective
immediately. N
