Our buildir, g happens to be at the bend of the road and will not effeOt the appearance of future homes erected. We are fully swere of the fact that the homes were constructed before the 35' setback ordinace went into effect. Our building is 2'5" short of the 35' mark st I corner and 12" on the other. This wes not done intentionally. We had s permit priorto the start of construction and we was aware of the ~5' setback. We built two homes one next to the other. One is correct, the other the mason made s mistake. We fully realize the mistake is ours and sincerely regret it. We are willimg to make reparation short of moving the building back because we are afrsld it may somewhat weaken the construction. We can only assure you that this will not P~ppen again while workin~ ~ithin your jurisdiction. We presented you with an excuse but r~slly we have no defence for what we did. W.e can only hope that you will make sn exception in this case and grant us the vsriatlon we now request. We regret the inconvenience we caused you and thank you for the time and effort expended in our behalf..
