Due to the recent Storm activity, the existing protective dune has sustained severe erosion. The existing septic system is located within the protective dune and threatens to be exposed in the near future. Attached provides a Wetland application, survey, pictures and a proposed site plan for your review. TFLC, INC acting as property owner's agent. Illustrated on the attached site plan, TFLC has proposed installing +/- 55LFT of 1-2 Ton Boulder material to serve as a protective boulder revetment, as previously constructed (3) properties to the west. TFLC will provide 60 cubic yards of clean sand to back fill the rock revetment wall. The proposed wall will run from existing dune and extend landward into the Natural vegetation. The area will be revegetated as required with Native Species (i.e. beach grass). The continuous erosion that has occurred over the past few storms has not only compromised the protective dune, but also the existing septic system and building structure. The site plan provided will aid in protecting the property from future storm damage. I can be contacted at 516-807-2575 with any questions. Thank you. Best, W.
