ZBA Annual Training
As approved by the Southold Town hoard, at the Zl3A Regular Meeting on March 14,
2019, the Board participated in a training seminar provided by Chief Building
Inspector Mike Verity and principal Planner Marl', Terry, who provided written.
material and discussed how to read surveys relative to FEMA compliance in various
flood prone areas. The training was practical and specific to ZBA applications for
variance relief on waterfront properties and properties that contain wetlands. This
seminar completed the required four hours of annual training for 2018 for all ZPA
members and l have submitted the required documentation to the Town Clerk for her
records.
