Hello again, Fred, Just touching base with you to show you that the basement CO/Smoke detector has been installed, and the railing and support work on the waterside deck is well underway. Henry has a little more to finish around the eastern side of the deck where the bbq is, but should be through with it very shortly, he says. I will send you a confirming photo once I get it but as you can see he has significantly reinforced and stabilized the railings around the bulk of the deck already. Kindly confirm receipt of the photos so I know you are able to add them to my files. If the owner chooses not to have said inspection performed by the Town, a certification from a NYS licensed architect, a NYS licensed professional engineer or a home inspector who has a valid New York State Uniform Fire Prevention Building Code Certification is required stating that the property which is the subject of the rental permit application is in compliance with all of the provisions of the code of the Town of Southold,the laws and sanitary and housing regulations of the County of Suffolk and by the la adopted by the New York State Fire Prevention and Building Code Council.
