1. STRICT ~,PPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce UNDUE HARDSHIP ~ and
practical difficulties as the land falls off from the front to back of %his
property. Setting the proposed ~arport at the reqUi_redI fifty foot setback would
require excessive A~ounts of fill and. grad&ng~to'~make~-a 'practical approach to
b~e bnilding.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE bnd is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vic n ty..~f chis property'Crnd in this use district because:kThe'.lotsin' qUe-~tio~' is one of the
larger type lots, which are mostly"sidehill"property.
3. The Variance would observe the spi-r t~o~:~he O[dinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE
CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because: The lots in this area are all larger t~n the
ordinance requires, and on private roads which do not have much traffic, and in this
case the owner has property on both sides of this street. The area is strictly
residential, and the proposed use will in no way. change the charicter of the district,
or .harm in any way the nezonOornood.
