ACTION OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS OF TOWN SOUTHOLD

at a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals on Thursday, July 9, 1959 the appeal
was considered and the action indicated below was taken on your
( ) Request for variance due to lack of access to property
( ) Request for a special permit under the Zoning Ordinance
( ) Request for a variance to the Zoning Ordinance
(X) Request for a special exception to the Zoning Ordinance.
1. SPECIAL PERMIT. By resolution of the Board it was determined that a special permit ( ) be

3 . SPECIAL EXCEPTION: Whereas the public convenience and welfare
and justice will be served and the legally established or permitted
use of neighborhood property will not be substantially or permanently
injured and the spirit of the Ordinance would be observed, therefore be
it RESOLVED that the application be granted for the erection and
maintenance of an 18 in. by 3 ft. directional sign to be located on
the southwest corner of Camp Mineola Road and New Suffolk Avenue ,
Mattituck, New York, on property of Malcolm Tuthill. Sign to read
"Mattituck Marina;1with an arrow pointing south and the words
"Launching Ramp"in the center of the arrow.
