Corporation to install a bulkhead and discharge fill material in Greenport Harbor, Shelter
Island Sound, Town of Southold. Comments by March 7, 2003.
NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Notice of Complete Application of Mark
Baxter to subdivide one 7 acre parcel into two lots with a new single family dwelling
setback 100 linear feet from the Tidal Wetlands Boundary at 5805 Main Bayview Road,

V. RESOLUTIONS
Special Note: At the start of the Town Board Meeting the Supervisor will invite the public to
speak on the following resolutions.
106. Permanently appoint Patricia Conklin and Damon Rallis to the full-time position of
Building Permits Examiner in the Building Department.
107. Authorize modification to the Community Preservation Fund 2003 budget.
108. Appoint John Morgan as a part-time Deckhand for the Fishers Island Ferry District.
109. Accept bids for the three used vehicles in accordance with bid specifications.
110. Grant permission to Mattituck Lions Club to hold their annual Strawberry Festival and
Country Fair on Route 48 in Mattituck on June 13-15, 2003.
111. Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2002 budget for capital outlay at
Cochran Park.

Grant permission to the Southold Village Merchants to use Town roads for their "Home
Town Parade" on July 4, 2003.
Appoint James Richter, Town Engineer, to the Southold Town Transportation Commission.
Change the title of Victor L'Epplattenier from Senior Planner to Site Plan Reviewer.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town 2003 budget for a new printer.
Authorize Det. Beth Dzenkowski to attend the Executive Board Meeting of the NY Police
Juvenile Officers Association on March 6-7, 2003 in Albany.
Authorize Sgt. Richard Perkins to attend the Grant Writing Course sponsored by the
Northeast Counterdrug Training Center MarCh 17-21, 2003 in Annville, PA.
Authorize modification to the Fishers Island Ferry District 2002 budget for various
expenses.
Authorize modification to the General Fund Whole Town, General Fund Part Town,
Highway Fund Whole Town, Highway Fund Part Town, Community Preservation Fund,
Employee Health Plan, Solid Waste District, Wastewater Disposal District, and Fishers
Island Sewer District 2002 budgets in order to close the books for 2002.
Authorize modification to the Fishers island Ferry District 2003 budget for retirement
benefits.
Accept the bid of All Island Equipment Corp. for a new asphalt paver and 1 O-ton
equipment trailer in the Highway Department.
Accept the resignation of Nicholas Kastanias, part-time Food Service Worker at the Human
Resource Center.
Grant permission to the Superintendent of Highways to purchase one new asphalt roller.
Authorize a salary increase of 6.5% to Thomas F. Doherty, Manager, Fishers Island Ferry
District.
Appoint BrunO Semon to the full-time position of Senior Site Plan Reviewer in the
Planning Department.

Authorize and direct Supervisor Horton to execute the Congregate Services Initiative
Contract Agreement with the County of Suffolk.
Approve bond resolution authorizing the Town to join with the United States Army Corps
of Engineers in the preparation and development of the mitigation of shoreline erosion
damage study at Mattituck Inlet, and to share in the cost thereof; the estimated maximum
cost is $485,000, of which $242,500 is to be expended by the State, subject to
reimbursement by the Town in the amount of $72,750 plus $10,000 for preliminary and
incidental costs, and authorize the financing thereof through the issuance of serial bonds.
Approve the purchase of the property of Adamowicz and others, SCTM #1000-121-5-4.1.
Adopt "A Local Law in Relation to Implementing Volunteer Firefighters and Ambulance
Worker Real Property Tax Exemption".
AdoPt the Cable Franchise Agreement with Cablevision.

minor subdivision of Edgar and Arlene Marvin, SCTM #1000-117-10-09.
