Board and Office Policies, Practices, and Activities: ZBA Annual Training As approved by the Southold Town.Board., at the ZBA regular Meeting on February , 2018, the Board participated in a training seminar provided by Corey Humphrey, District:Manager of Suffolk County Soil and 'Mater Conservation District. Mr. Humphrey handed out printed materials and discussed the wide range of services that SCSW provides to municipalities and private property owners, how they research and. generate the advisory reports the ZBA regularly requests in association with applications for variance relief on waterfront properties, and the relationship between their recommendations and the imposition of ZBA conditions in decisions that will. mitigate potential adverse environmental impacts to bluffs, banks, wetlands and the protection of"local water quality. 111.
