Tax Roil: Occupied: Mary E. Wheeler Robert Wheeler Jr., & wf. Upon receipt of an application for a Pre-existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspection of this one and one half story framed dwelling and found the following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York. I was admitted to building by Mrs. Wheeler who accompanied me during this inspection which began at approx- imately 10:35 A.M. The first floor consists of a kitchen, full bathroom, dining room, living room and two bedrooms. The second floor consists of two bedrooms, full bathroom off the West bedroom and a room on the North side, unheated, that had been used as a library. Bedroom: North wall light fixture, pull chain switch broken. Art. V., Sec. 52-56 A. Heat is furnished to rooms on two floors from an oil fired steam heat furnace located in full cellar. Cellar: Potable water supply from submersible pump located in yard area. In the cellar--a series of irrigation lines branch off the water main from pump before entering water supply tank for building. The water main from pump is lower than~the irrigation lines which run through building's foundation for the under- ground sprinkler system. There is a possibility of con- tamination of potable water unless check valves are in- stalled between irrigation lines and water main supply line. Art V., Sec. 52-51 B-1. Electrical hook up for submersible water pump=connection Qf wires requires electrical junction box. Switch box and water pump junction box not securely fastened to wall. Art.
