is requested for the reason that: I wish tobuild a small home for myself on a lot of
80 ft front by 153 ft deep. Due to the natural terrain a larger width would spoil
the use of the ~djoining lot on the southerly side.

1. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce UNDUE HARDSHIP because I

The a~Joinlng lots on the northerly side are i~tensly built up on 50ft lot
fron~ages~ The balance of .the property in this P~rcel is of similar type.
2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate
vicinity of thist property and in this use district because~ '?h~ p~el i~ the last o£ t~e ~ail~ble
property so~th of the Su~erhaven S~:lvi~io~.
3. The Variance would observe the spirit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE

INSTRUCTIONS
a. This application must be completely filled in by typewriter or in ink and suJ)mitted in duplicate to the Building
Inspector.
b. Plot plan showing location of lot and of buildings on premises, relationship to adjoining premises or public streets
or areas, and giving a detailed description of layout of property must be drawn on the diagram which is part of this location.
c. The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit.
d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. Such
permit shall be kept on the premises available for inspection throughout the progress of the work.
e. No building shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose whatever until a Certificate of Occupancy
shall have been granted by the Building Inspector.
APPLICATION IS HEREBY MADE to the Building Department for the issuanoe of a Building Permit pursuant to the
Building Zone Ordinance of the Town of Southold, Suffolk County, New York, and other applicable Laws, Ordinances or
