CHARLES ~ING EAST MARION 21 Jan 60
Nov. 12 1959 From minutes of B of A Nov 12 1959
Mr King explaine8 his plan to reverse existing buldings _ that is
to place existing rear building where present front building is located
and attaching store to rear building. What he wants to do is to
make one building of the two.
After a through discussion the board agreed that if the project
did not cost more than $ 2200. there would be no objection uch
of the cost submitted by King would not come under our Sec ~00~
~ub (e).
Last season the assessors went over the property and considered
the buildings worth $ k000. If King is willing to stipulate that
the figure is correct and he will produce figures when his Job is
done showing that the reconstruction or structural alteration does
not exceed $ 2000. he should receive a certificate of occupancy.
We require a record for our files of the final cost of whatever
w~rk comes under Sec 1007 sub (e) for the future. Much of the work
he proposes does not come under our Jurisdiction.
.It appears tDat we should include in our minutes the i
