State hereby apply to THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS for o SPECIAL EXCEPTION in accordance with the ZONING ORDINANCE ARTICLE TZI SECTION .~00 SUBSECTION ll THE SPECIAL EXCEPTION IS REQUESTED BECAUSE : I wish to replace my small i~adequate directional sign at the East Side of Chapel Lane near the North Road with a larger directional advertizing sign. This sign would advertize the Sound Shore Motel, and havj a directional arrow or other means of showing the location of the motel. Due to the widening and improving of the ~ain Road, we have lost the use of one of our old established signs at Albertsons Lane, and would like a sign similar to that type at the above location. Directional signs are essential to the operation of a motel business such as ours. The Boards favorable consideration of this application would be greatly appreciated.
