R-1 Cutchogue, N.Y. Sub. Div.: Nassau Farms #1176, Lots 44-45 Tax Roll: Frederick Walters & Ano. Upon request of Gary F. Olsen, Attorney, Mattituck, New York for a Pre-existing Certificate of Occupancy, I made an inspec- tion of this one and one half story framed dwelling. I was admitted to building by Mr. Walters and began this inspection at approximately 1:10 P.M. The first floor consists of two bedrooms, kitchen, living room with cathedral ceiling, two full bathrooms, a heated en- closed front porch which provides entry to building, and an enclosed porch on the southwest side of building with entry from exterior. Second half story is balcony with stairway from living room. Building is constructed on a cement block foundation with partial cellar and crawl space. Heat is furnished to all rooms from an oil -fired, forced warm air furnace located in cellar. The following violations of the Housing Code, Chapter 52, Town of Southold, New York, were found: Exterior: fence located at two front yards along front yard property lines, several posts rotted away at base, Article VI, Section 52-61 B. Kitchen: cooking gas range and oven, built in units, no shut off valve at units, Article V, Section 52-52 B 2. Cellar: stairway from first floor requries handrail on open side, landing at foot of stair allows 13" between first step and cement block wall, Article II, Section 52-27 A B. Final survey of property with accurate location of all buildings, property lines, streets, and unusual natural or topographic features. 2. Final approval of Health Dept. of water supply and sewerage disposal—(S-9 form or equal). 3. Approval of electrical installation from Board of Fire Underwriters. 4.
