A Special Meeting of the SOUTHOLD TOWN ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS was held at the Southold Town Hall Annex, Second Floor Conference Room, 54375 Main Road at Youngs Avenue, Southold on Thursday, January 17, 2019 commencing at 5:00 P.M. Present were: Leslie Kanes Weisman, Chairperson Eric Dantes, Vice Chair Nick Planamento, Member Robert Lehnert, Member Kim Fuentes, Zoning Board Assistant Call to Order at 5:04 P.M. by Chairperson Weisman. EXECUTIVE SESSION: 5:04 P.M. Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to enter into Executive Session. Vote of the Board: Ayes: All. (Member Acampora was absent) Page 2—Minutes Special Meeting held January 17, 2019 Southold Town Zoning Board of Appeals WORK SESSION: a) Requests from Board Members for future agenda items. b) Future Training scheduled. c) De Minimus request Appeal No. 5222. d) Extension Request, Appeal No. 6844 POSSIBLE RESOLUTION TO CLOSE THE FOLLOWING HEARINGS: MICHAEL MCCARRICK REAL ESTATE, INC. #7231 — (Adj. from January 3, 2019) Request for a Variance from Article 111, Section 280-15; and the Building Inspector's August 1, 2018, Notice of Disapproval based on an application for a building permit to construct an accessory garage; at; 1) located less than the code required minimum front yard setback of 35 feet; at: 415 Lakeside Drive, (Adj. to Pleasant Inlet), Southold, NY. SCTM#1000-90-3-13. BOARD RESOLUTION: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to Close the hearing. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman, Dantes, Planamento, and Lelulert. This Resolution was duly adopted; (4-0). (Member Acampora was absent). The Applicants are the owners requesting authorization to establish an Accessory Bed and Breakfast, accessory and incidental to the residential occupancy in this single-family dwelling, with five (5) bedrooms for lodging and serving of breakfast to the B&B casual, transient roomers; located at 40300 Main Road, Peconic, NY. SCTM No. 1000-86-4-1.4. BOARD RESOLUTION: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to Adjourn to February 7, 2019 for possible closing and deliberation. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman, Dantes, Planamento, and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted; (4-0). Located at 45450 County Road 48 (aka North Road, corner Young's Avenue) Southold, NY. SCTM#1000-55-5-2.2. BOARD RESOLUTION: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Acampora to Adjourn the hearing to March 14, 2019. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman, Dantes, Planamento, and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted; (4-0). DELIBERATIONS/POSSIBLE DECISIONS/RESOLUTIONS: The Board continued with agenda items, and commenced deliberations on the following application. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Chairperson Weisman, seconded by Member Lehnert to authorize advertising of hearings for Regular Meeting to be held on February 7, 2019 which Regular Meeting will commence at 8:30 A.M., Town Meeting Hall, 53095 Main Road, Southold. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman Dantes Planamento and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0). B. RESOLUTION ADOPTED: Motion was offered by Member Weisman, seconded by Member Dantes to approve minutes from December 6, 2018, Regular Meeting. Vote of the Board: Ayes: Members Weisman Dantes, Planamento and Lehnert. This Resolution was duly adopted (4-0).
