The work covered by this application may not be commenced before issuance of Building Permit. d. Upon approval of this application, the Building Inspector will issue a Building Permit to the applicant. STRICT APPLICATION OF THE ORDINANCE would produce UNDUE HARDSHIP because applicant wishes to extend her living room which is now undersized. This property was purchased from Ethel Terry, formerly Ethel Yells, who used the sa~e for a real estate office and the property is in a "B" Business zone. ~pDlicant has had an addition'added to the rear and now wishes to prepare the building for a permanent residence. She is reluctant to ex~end in a westerly direction on account of a very lovely tree which would bare to be removed. 2. The hardship created is UNIQUE and is not shared by all properties alike in the immediate vicinity of this property and in this use district because there az'e no other buiidiztgs in a comparable position. 3. The Variance would observe the ~irit of the Ordinance and WOULD NOT CHANGE THE CHARACTER OF THE DISTRICT because t~s ~ould only be a small extension and could not affect the road to the east since this is a private road ~estabii~hed~byJohn Boutcher~for the benefit .of p~op~rt~eS ~o the ~out~ .~Lth~ugh a few cars may pass in the course of a day~ there is no so-called traffic to. be affected and certainly there can be none and neither c~u there be any effect on the residences to the east.
